Nicole Barlow, LAC

Nicole is a New Jersey licensed associate counselor (LAC) and a national certified counselor (NCC). Nicole graduated with a BA in Psychology from the University of Delaware along with minors in Art and Italian for her undergraduate degree. She then attended Thomas Jefferson University where she received a MS in Community and Trauma Counseling with a concentration in Child Trauma and Play Therapy.

Nicole is actively working towards certification as a licensed professional counselor (LPC) as well as a registered play therapist (RPT). Nicole worked as an intern here at The Thrive Network before joining our staff as a full-time employee. Nicole has experience working with children and adolescents and tends to utilize a person-centered approach in treatment. Nicole’s clinical experience and interests include trauma-informed care, strength-based treatment, mindfulness, the LGBTQIA+ population, the neurodivergent population, and more. Nicole’s free time consists of building LEGO sets, traveling, playing with her cat, and spending time with friends and family.
