We provide affordable counseling services for families, children, couples, and adults in the South New Jersey area.

$105-350 per 50-minute session.

Occasionally, we can offer sessions with an intern at a reduced rate.  If this interests you, please ask for further details upon intake.

Insurance

New Jersey Medicaid

Due to the increasing time and paperwork required to participate in health insurance networks, The Thrive Network has chosen to limit the number of networks we participate in.  In short, we’d much rather DO the work we are passionate about rather than chase insurance companies for months to get paid!

We are in-network with the following New Jersey Medicaid plans:

Commercial Insurance

We are in-network with the following Commercial Insurance Plans:

If you have the following New Jersey FamilyCare insurance plans, you may have 100% coverage.*

*Exclusions include individuals enrolled in DDD, MLTSS, and FIDE-SNP with outpatient mental health services coverage under their managed care organizations (MCOs) and those with Medicaid and private insurance coverage. 

Out of Network

Even if your current health insurance provider is not among those listed, it is possible that mental health services may be partially reimbursed through your insurance provider. Please get in touch with your primary insurance provider to verify your plan’s policy on out-of-network providers for psychotherapy services.

What are the benefits of paying privately for counseling versus using insurance?

• You choose the therapist best suited to your needs rather than the insurance company telling you who to see.
• You have flexibility in the type of therapy and the length of services included in the session.
• You will have complete confidentiality. We will not share your records with anyone without your permission. In fact, no one else will know you are even in therapy unless you tell them!
• You can stay with your therapist even if your insurance plan coverage changes.

You can set your priorities for affordable counseling services. 

We find the money to pay for what’s important. We pay cash for essential services like car repairs, club memberships, and salon visits, which are valuable services that meet only short-term needs. If it seems you can’t afford weekly or bi-weekly therapy sessions for a period of time (therapy does not have to be a long-term commitment), there might be ways of re-prioritizing expenses to address this vital service. A few adjustments to your family budget may ensure you can receive the professional counseling needed to help make life-long changes. Affordable counseling services are attainable for everyone.

Payment

We accept cash, checks, and all major credit cards as forms of payment.  However, we are unable to move the balance forward. We expect payment at the time of service.

Military and First Responder Discount

The Thrive Network would like to show our appreciation for military and first responder clients with a special discount for outpatient therapy services. We offer 25% off initial evaluations and 10% off ongoing therapy services for active military, veterans, and first responders and their families (spouses and children).*

*The military and first responder discount applies to private pay clients only. 

Cancellation Policy

Life happens. We get it. Our clinicians make you their top priority. We ask that you treat your appointments with the same degree of importance. If a true emergency arises, we ask for 24-48 hours’ advance notice to cancel a session. Otherwise, we may charge you the total rate of the session.
