Melissa holds a Master of Social Work degree from Capella University, a Bachelor of Arts (Criminal Justice) from Rutgers University, and an in-progress LCADC certificate from Atlantic Cape Community College. Melissa has completed multiple trainings with Rutgers Children’s System of Care on a variety of subjects including but not limited to developmental stages and processes, mindfulness skills, and Child and Family Dynamics. She has an ongoing strong interest in mental health and helping fields.

Since obtaining her License in Social Work, she has been working directly with clients in an outpatient setting for over a year. Melissa’s specialties include trauma, depression, anxiety, social anxiety, and addictions

When she has free time, Melissa enjoys reading, learning and collaborating, gardening, spending time in nature, playing with and caring for my pair of domestic ducks, and listening to and watching podcasts and documentaries.
