Kassidy D'Amico, MA, LAC
Kassidy is a Licensed Associate Counselor (LAC) and National Certified Counselor (NCC) who holds a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Rider University and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Rowan University. She brings a well-rounded clinical background with experience spanning multiple levels of care, including mental health hospitals, high school settings, inpatient substance use rehabilitation centers, and co-occurring outpatient therapy. Her professional journey has also included internships at local intensive outpatient (IOP) substance use programs and outpatient methadone clinics, further strengthening her ability to support individuals across diverse treatment needs.
Throughout her work, Kassidy has provided individual and group counseling, conducted assessments, and developed personalized, strengths-based treatment plans to help clients achieve meaningful progress. She is experienced in collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, coordinating care, and supporting clients through each stage of treatment, from initial engagement to aftercare planning. Her background also includes crisis intervention, where she has utilized de-escalation techniques, suicide risk assessment, and safety planning to ensure client safety and stability.
