Guy Still, Behavior Assistant
Guy is a dedicated educator, community servant, and executive leader with more than 17 years of experience advancing youth development, community engagement, nonprofit management, and urban revitalization initiatives. He currently serves as Program Director for the Community Planning and Advocacy Council (CPAC), where he leads the AmeriCorps Seniors RSVP program, overseeing volunteer engagement, program development, community partnerships, and organizational growth. In addition, Guy is a Behavioral Assistant with Thrive Network, where he supports individuals and families through compassionate, person-centered services that promote positive behavioral outcomes and personal growth.
A bilingual professional fluent in English and Spanish, Guy has built a distinguished career focused on strengthening communities through education, leadership development, and civic engagement. His expertise includes program management, public relations, team leadership, public speaking, organizational development, and community partnership building. Throughout his career, he has successfully managed initiatives that foster collaboration among nonprofit organizations, schools, government agencies, and community stakeholders to create meaningful and lasting impact.
Guy earned a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and Communication and Media Studies from Rutgers University, New Brunswick and a Master of Public Administration in Executive Leadership from Rutgers University, Camden. His graduate research focused on understanding the lack of minority males in the early childhood teaching profession, reflecting his longstanding commitment to educational equity and representation. He also holds a New Jersey PreK–3rd Grade Teaching Certification.
His professional experience spans leadership roles in education, nonprofit administration, communications, and youth services. Prior to CPAC, Guy served as General Manager and Public Relations Consultant for Kennith Allen Thomas & Associates, where he developed marketing strategies and coordinated personal and professional development programs. He also served as Dean of School Culture at Mastery Charter School, helping to cultivate a high-achievement learning environment and strengthen organizational effectiveness. As a Teacher and Community Program Coordinator at Rutgers University, Camden, he developed dual-language preschool programming and led community engagement initiatives that connected families with vital resources and opportunities.
Earlier in his career, Guy served as Unit Director for the Boys & Girls Club of Camden County, where he managed youth development programs, grant-funded initiatives, donor relations, and community partnerships. He began his professional journey in media as an Assistant News and Entertainment Producer with CBS Broadcasting in New York, contributing to national news and entertainment productions through research, interviews, and content development.
Beyond his professional accomplishments, Guy is a passionate motivational speaker, youth advocate, and mentor who is deeply committed to personal and professional development. He also serves as a high school football assistant coach and high school baseball head coach, using athletics as a platform to inspire leadership, discipline, and character development among young people. Through every role he undertakes, Guy remains dedicated to empowering individuals, strengthening communities, and creating opportunities for future generations.
