Adam Munsick, MA, LPC

Adam is a licensed professional counselor in New Jersey who provides Telehealth services with a humanistic and person-centered approach. He specializes in working with youth and families, utilizing a child-centered play therapy perspective, and is currently working toward certification as a registered play therapist. Adam takes a systems-based approach to therapy, tailoring interventions to meet each client’s unique needs and helping them achieve their highest potential.

Adam began his career in the mental health field in 2018, working at a residential group home for adults with various mental health diagnoses. He later served as a behavioral assistant providing intensive in-community services, and as an intern therapist delivering outpatient services to adolescents and adults struggling with mental health and substance use challenges. Through these experiences, he has worked with a diverse population, including children, adolescents, young adults, and older adults.

Adam earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology and a Master of Arts degree in counseling from Stockton University, where he developed a strong foundation in psychological theory and practice and maintained academic excellence throughout his studies. His professional objectives include empowering clients to grow, fostering independence, and providing the tools they need to thrive. He is committed to continued education and self-development to enhance his clinical skills and deepen his understanding of therapeutic practice.

Outside of his professional work, Adam enjoys playing golf, fishing, hiking, and immersing himself in nature. He practices mindfulness and meditation and values spending quality time with family and friends.
