Sofia comes to Thrive with 10 years of experience as a Behavioral Assistant and teacher. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Spanish with a minor in German and a Concentration in International Studies and Asian Studies. She is considered an expert in Spanish and Portuguese, proficient in German, and currently is employed as a Spanish Teacher in a high school. She has worked with elementary and high school students and has experience working with trauma, bullying, anger management, and LGBTQ youth, utilizing play and mindfulness techniques. Sofia is a welcome addition to Thrive.
