Sarah Swiderski, LSW
Sarah Swiderski is a Licensed Social Worker in New Jersey with extensive experience supporting individuals across the lifespan, particularly those navigating mental health challenges, addiction, and educational settings. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Rutgers University and went on to complete her Master’s in Social Work from Rutgers University School of Social Work, with an emphasis on Social Work Health.
Sarah began her career working with individuals struggling with addiction and mental illness, an experience that inspired her to advance her expertise in social work. She has since gained diverse clinical experience, including providing trauma-informed care, facilitating individual and group therapy, and assisting children in school settings to develop essential social and emotional skills. Sarah is passionate about advocacy, empowering clients, and helping them achieve their goals.
Her clinical expertise includes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing, the Recovery Model, the Sanctuary Model, and Illness Management & Recovery (IMR). She also holds a Seminar in Field Instruction (SIFI) Certification and has supervised social work interns.
