Kelly Clement, MS, LAC
Kelly Clement is a licensed associate counselor (LAC) in New Jersey, specializing in trauma-informed care through Art and Play therapy. She earned her Master of Science in Community and Trauma Counseling from Thomas Jefferson University, where she completed specializations in both Art and Play therapy. Currently, Kelly is pursuing her Doctor of Health Sciences at Jefferson, focusing on integrative approaches to mind, body, and spirit healing.
Kelly’s clinical interests include the neuroscience of trauma, the mind-gut connection, and the intersectionality of Art and Play therapy. She is actively pursuing licensure and certifications as an LPC, LPAT, ATR-BC, and RPT. Kelly has presented at the Philadelphia Trauma Conference and brings her enthusiasm, creativity, and evidence-based approach to every session.
She enjoys working with children, providing both outpatient and in-community therapy, and supporting families through psychoeducation and advocacy. Kelly’s approach emphasizes a therapeutic environment that is engaging, safe, and healing.
Kelly is a licensed associate counselor who integrates a variety of therapeutic modalities, selecting the approach that best meets each client’s unique needs. She primarily conducts family therapy with Intensive In-Community clients and occasionally includes family sessions for her Outpatient clients, though she does not maintain a traditional family therapy caseload. Kelly has a preference for working with children under 12, but she continues to support clients as they grow, extending her practice to adolescents, teens, and young adults. She has specialized training in therapy for neurodivergent individuals and in Infant & Early Childhood Mental Health, and she holds a certification in nutritional counseling.
