Karen earned a Master’s Degree in Social Work with an emphasis in Administrative, Policy and Planning from Rutgers University and is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with supervisory capabilities. She is a Registered Play Therapy Supervisor. She has an extensive history working with children and adolescents treating severe and complex trauma. She has worked in psychiatric hospitals, correctional facilities, residential treatment centers and outpatient treatment programs. Her extensive clinical training and knowledge focuses include depression and anxiety, ADHD, trauma, play therapy, and adoption issues. Karen’s focus in treatment is to help her clients find healthy ways to manage difficult parts of life. Karen enjoys traveling, the beach, reading and spending time with her family.
