Jessica Nokes, MS, LAC, NCC

Jessica is a Licensed Associate Counselor (LAC) and a National Certified Counselor (NCC) who holds a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Monmouth University. She also earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Stockton University and an Associate of Arts in Liberal Arts from Ocean County College.

Throughout her education, Jessica gained extensive experience providing mental health support in diverse settings. She completed a practicum and internship at the Samaritan Center at the Jersey Shore, offering individual counseling for clients navigating psychological and emotional challenges, and participated in an intensive outpatient group counseling program at CPC Behavioral Healthcare, supporting individuals with substance use and co-occurring disorders. Additionally, she volunteered at The Alcove Center for Grieving Children and Families, facilitating activity-based support groups to help children process traumatic loss.

Jessica currently provides mental health counseling services to children, individuals, and families at The Thrive Network in Egg Harbor Township, New Jersey. She develops and implements individualized treatment plans, conducts intakes and assessments, and delivers counseling across outpatient, intensive in-community, and telehealth settings. She is committed to furthering her clinical expertise through ongoing advanced training and also mentors new therapists through outpatient orientations.

With a strong focus on person-centered, goal-oriented approaches, Jessica works to address the unique needs of each client, guiding them toward improved mental health and overall well-being. Her dedication to the field is reflected in her consistent work ethic, passion for helping others, and commitment to professional growth.

Jessica’s accomplishments include membership in the Golden Key International Honor Society, Psi Chi International Honor Society in Psychology, and Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society, and she has been recognized for her academic excellence through programs such as NJ Stars.
