Elise Johnson-Griffin, LSW
Elise is a Licensed Social Worker providing both in-home and office-based support for children, adolescents, and their families. She earned her Master of Social Work from the University of Pennsylvania and her Bachelor of Arts in Politics, with a minor in Gender Studies, from Mount Holyoke College. Elise is trained in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and holds a First Aid Certificate for Adult, Child, and Infant CPR.
Elise’s clinical focus is on children and adolescents, utilizing family-based, expressive art, and play therapy techniques to support emotional growth and resilience. She has extensive experience in individual and family counseling, mental health assessments, parent coaching, and coordinating care across multiple systems. Her work spans a variety of settings, including schools, in-home therapy, community programs, and family recovery interventions.
When she’s not working with clients, Elise enjoys attending live concerts and events, watching movies, and exploring her passion for cooking and baking.
