Beth Beal-Williams, MA, LAMFT

Beth Beal-Williams brings over 30 years of experience working with young people and families. For 27 years, she has served as a Senior Probation Officer, guiding juveniles toward positive life paths and supporting their growth into productive members of society. Throughout her career in the court system, Beth has completed extensive training in mediation and conciliation, supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, mental health first aid, domestic violence, and substance use.

In addition to her work in probation, Beth has served as an adjunct professor at a local college, earned certification as a criminal justice counselor, and worked as the Assistant Coordinator for the Atlantic City Rites of Passage Program. Her professional journey reflects a lifelong commitment to empowering children and families who have faced trauma and behavioral challenges, helping them build resilience and achieve their goals.

Most recently, Beth completed the Birth to Five: Helping Families Thrive Clinical Practice Series through Montclair State University’s Center for Autism and Early Childhood Mental Health. This intensive series provided advanced competencies in:

  • Infant and young child development and behavior

  • Family-centered and relationship-focused therapeutic practice

  • Trauma, attachment, and early childhood disorders

  • Advocacy, cultural humility, and ethical practice

  • Reflective consultation and professional growth

While Beth is trained in a variety of therapeutic approaches, Beth primarily draws from Narrative Therapy and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), which align closely with their style and philosophy of care.
