As a therapist, Thomas has worked with children from 4-21 years old who were struggling with a variety of challenges including bullying, obesity, domestic violence, ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder, drug addiction, abuse, anger management and more. Being familiar with the school systems, he has been able to successfully help families navigate through Individual Education Plan meetings (IEPs) and hold discussions with student support teams, which can be overwhelming to families.
He is able to help students cope with challenges they face daily at school while identifying resources for children that are often unknown by families. He has a very unique background working with a diverse population of children. This work has helped him understand their needs, their cultures, their backgrounds, and their own unique stories.
