My name is Sarah Horneff and I am currently a tenured teacher in the city of Camden. I have extensive experience working in special education writing IEPs and 504 plans, developing curriculum, and working with a diverse group of teachers. I obtained my Masters in Education from Bloomsburg University in 2013 and since then have focused on developing my knowledge of the impact of trauma in education. Previously, I obtained my Bachelors in Psychology with a focus on children, youth, and families. My passion is building relationships between families and their children as well as focusing on generational trauma and the impact on children. Clinically, my focus is on developing the academic and social/emotional skills of children with special needs. I also have experience with at-risk youth with a of self-harm, bipolar disorder, ODD, substance abuse recovery, domestic violence, and trauma.
