Lauren is a licensed social worker with a master’s degree in social work and certificate in aging and health from Rutgers School of Social Work. She also holds a certification in grief counseling. Lauren works with children, young adults, and adults in the Cherry Hill outpatient center and via telehealth. Lauren has experience working in a variety of settings and diverse populations including hospitals, end of life care, inpatient psychiatric, first responders, and in-home services. Lauren believes that mental health is a lifelong journey and works from a holistic approach tailored to the client’s needs and where they are on their mental health journey. Her areas of expertise include trauma-informed care, transitions of life, crisis intervention, mindfulness, play therapy, and somatic therapy. She also has experience working with children with developmental disabilities and chronic illness.
In her spare time, Lauren takes an active role in supporting her local community through her church. She also enjoys hiking, guided meditation, walking meditation and exploring new therapies to continue to expand her knowledge to best serve her clients.
