Jocelyn is a behavioral assistant with The Thrive Network. She has worked in the mental health field since 2016 and is currently working towards obtaining her licensure to become a licensed social worker. Jocelyn has extensive experience working with children and families through the NJ Children’s System of Care Mobile Response & Stabilization Services and has previously worked as a residential counselor with children and adolescents ranging from ages 5-21. Jocelyn strongly believes in the idea of family voice and family choice. She goes above and beyond to assist families and youth in addressing their needs and meeting their goals in a creative way.
Jocelyn earned her Master’s of Social Work degree from Rutgers University in New Brunswick, NJ and her Bachelor’s of Arts in psychology from Rider University in Lawrenceville, NJ. She also holds a Violence Against Women and Children (VAWC) certification.
In her spare time, Jocelyn is an avid animal lover and devotes her time and attention to her beloved dog Sasha. Jocelyn also shares a special interest in Salsa dancing and previously competed professionally for 10+ years.
