Job Description:

This position is for licensed mental health clinicians with experience providing counseling for children and their families to provide in-home and in-community therapy for youth up to age 21. Work often includes working with at-risk youth with trauma. We are looking for candidates in the Egg Harbor Township, Cherry Hill, and Camden areas of New Jersey.

Part-time and full-time opportunities are available depending on the applicant’s experience.

Job Duties:

  • Provide direct service to children and families.
  • Complete intake and assessment, providing complete and accurate information necessary for treatment and billing.
  • Design and implement treatment plans that promote healthy attachment, self-regulation, independence, impulse-control, decision-making skills, and social responsibility/empathy.
  • Work collaboratively with other team members who are supporting the clients including but not limited to: education, physicians, etc.
  • Provide telephone counseling for emergencies both during office hours and outside of office hours for clients.
  • Attend monthly staff meetings and individual or group supervision as required for your licensure track.
  • Schedule will vary, but evenings and weekends are required.



  • Must have current New Jersey clinical licensure. (LCSW, LSW, LPC, LAC, LAMFT, or LMFT)
  • Must possess a bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology, counseling, or related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
  • 2+ years experience in mental health counseling for children and families.
  • Must have experience working with individuals with trauma. Experience with marriage and family counseling, child abuse treatment, and children with developmental disabilities highly desirable.
  • Special consideration given to candidates with background and experience in play therapy (filial, Theraplay, child-centered, PCIT, MIM relationship assessment, DIR Floortime, TFCBT, PCRT, ACT, Ecosystemic) and/or background and experience in expressive/art therapy.
  • Bilingual candidates desired. Fluent Spanish preferred.
  • Knowledge and sensitivity to cultural differences.
  • Must consent to and pass a criminal background check.
  • Ability to effectively use the DSM V.
  • Ability to make sound clinical judgments and to follow and give complex directions.
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Good computer skills; familiarity with smartphone applications.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to work cooperatively as a team member.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as assessments and procedure manuals.
  • Must comply with all HIPAA (confidentiality) laws as it relates to Protected Health Information.
  • Must be reliable, punctual, organized, and a self-starter.
  • Must be creative, enthusiastic, and a team player.
  • This role will be working remotely 15% of the time.
